The vision of the Clinical Nurse Leader Association is to improve patient outcomes through a focus on safety and quality outcomes and the implementation of evidence based practice at the point of care.
In 2009, a Steering Committee consisting of 12 CNLs was created to oversee the formation of the Clinical Nurse Leader Association (CNLA). The group established CNLA’s mission, vision, and the organization’s initial set of strategic, goals. It also established a Bylaws Subcommittee to spearhead the development of CNLA’s bylaws.
These bylaws set the rules and regulation by which the organization operates and are made available to all CNLA members.
